Report on Past Events
The Institute organizes open lectures on Japanese language for general audience. The lectures provide the participants with opportunities to deepen their understanding of the Japanese language. A wide variety of topics, which are selected from every-day language activities, are discussed.
Presentations of advanced research, which are open to the public, are offered annually. The topics of the meetings reflect ongoing projects of the Institute.
The Institute organizes international symposiums for discussing issues relating to Japanese language research and Japanese teaching from an international perspective by inviting scholars from various parts of the world.
Seminars for JSL / JFL educators
The Institute organizes seminars to promote the sharing of findings from research on Japanese teaching. The seminar is aimed for leading figures of Japanese teaching institutions.
