Summary
This study investigates how parent-to-infant speech influences infants' language development using computational and neurophysiological approaches. By employing the computational models developed by the principal investigator and collaborators, the study explores the developmental interaction between speech rhythms in parent-to-infant speech and infant speech using large-scale longitudinal corpus data. Furthermore, the neurophysiological validity of these computational insights will be evaluated through EEG experiments. This research seeks to propose language development interventions tailored to the individual characteristics of infants.
